Lane I use 15W40 because of a case half leak, low oil pressure at idle and for the added zinc since zinc has been reduced and I have rubbing element lifters instead of roller lifters in my engine, but for no other reason. No issues, I use cheap walmart oil too. That's just not smart on any level.
